Everyone knows plastic is a deadly form of marine pollution. But plastic is not our enemy. This tough, durable material makes life better for nearly every person on earth.
I want my art, made from debris I find on beaches and in seabird colonies, to remind us that used wisely, plastic is an asset. What’s bad is the ways we waste and discard it. We can do better.
